

Fiona Ey

Fiona Ey is a Founding Partner of Clarke Ey Koria Lawyers based in Apia, Samoa. With over two decades of experience, she specialises in cross-border transactions and dispute resolution, serving clients throughout the Pacific and Asia. Fiona is consistently recognised as a Leading Lawyer for the Pacific Islands in Chambers Asia-Pacific and Global rankings.
Beyond her legal practice, Fiona currently serves as President of the Samoa Law Society. She also holds leadership positions within the Commonwealth Lawyers Association, where she actively contributes to international legal discourse on climate justice, the rule of law and human rights. Fiona is Honorary Consul for Papua New Guinea in Samoa.
Fiona holds a masters degree in international law and undergraduate degrees in history and law from the Australian National University in Canberra. She was admitted to the bar in the Australian Capital Territory in 1997 and in Samoa in 2002. She is also an alumna of the East-West Center in Hawaii.
Deeply committed to the role of law in promoting fairness and protecting human rights—especially in small island developing states—Fiona has authored several articles on the rule of law in the context of Samoa’s constitutional and political challenges. Her community engagement includes mentoring youth climate advocates and supporting environmental initiatives.
