Lenny Rahman

Lenny Rahman serves on the Commonwealth Lawyers Association Council for Brunei Darussalam and brings over 20 years of legal practice experience with a focus on dispute resolution and litigation. Her work has spanned personal injury, civil litigation and negotiated settlements, underpinned by a commitment to fair outcomes and practical solutions.
She has acted in serious criminal matters, including cases involving the death penalty, with an emphasis on procedural fairness and access to justice. Her approach reflects a broader dedication to upholding fair trial standards and the fundamental rights of accused persons.
Lenny is actively engaged in mediation and alternative dispute resolution, holding civil and commercial accreditation and contributing to the growth of ADR both domestically and across the region. She supports initiatives that strengthen access to justice, and is particularly interested in how legal innovation and technology can improve the delivery of dispute resolution services.
Within the Commonwealth Lawyers Association, Lenny serves on Council for Brunei Darussalam and advocates practical measures to strengthen the rule of law, broaden access to justice, and promote ADR, inclusion and mentoring. She is also keen to encourage responsible use of legal innovation and technology to raise standards and expand access to legal services. As a CLA Council Member, she supports cross‑border engagement among legal professionals and the development of inclusive legal systems across the Commonwealth.
