Jointly hosted by Faculty of Law, The University of Hong Kong and CLA, this seminar will be delivered by Steven Thiru, Vice President (Australasia) CLA.

Lawyers and Bar associations, both national and international, have an important societal role in upholding the rule of law and fundamental constitutional rights.  This is over and above a lawyer’s professional duties to court and client. This societal role is peculiar to lawyers, as it is a derived from the nature of our training and our experience.
