Julie Nguyen

Julie Nguyen is counsel in the Access and Privacy group at the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery Legal Services Branch. She provides advice on matters relating to access to information, privacy law and recordkeeping, to program areas within MPBSD and also across government. She advises on various statutes including the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and the Archives and Recordkeeping Act. Julie was called to the bar in 2018 and graduated from the Dual JD program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, receiving a J.D. from both jurisdictions.
