The CLA is pleased to share a Joint Statement issued by the CMJA and CLEA on the recommendation to remove Supreme Court Justices Dr Azmiralda Zahir and Mahaz Ali Zahir from the Maldives in May 2025.
The Joint Statement follows on from Statements made by the International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute (IBAHRI) and the Open Letter by the CLA, LAWASIA and other bar associations .
