Europe / Malta will host the biennial 24th Commonwealth Law Conference 2025 (CLC25) in April 2025

One of the most prestigious events in the global legal calendar, the five-day conference will bring together a pan Commonwealth audience of international lawyers, senior justice leaders, members of the judiciary, academics and emerging young legal talent. The conference will provide a platform for discussion, networking and the sharing of best practice, with a high calibre international speaking faculty discussing legal issues of contemporary resonance through the prism of the rule of law.

Organised and hosted by the Commonwealth Lawyers Association (The CLA), the CLA President Mr Peter D Maynard KC said “We are delighted to bring the conferenceo Malta which joins the ranks of premier destinations like Zambia, The Bahamas and India who have hosted previously. The last conference in Goa March 2023 attracted delegates from 46 Commonwealth jurisdictions and I am confident that Malta will be an extremely popular destination for our membership. CLC25 is being organised with the participation of The Council of the Chamber of Advocates, a local NGO representing the corps of warranted advocates admitted to the Bar of Malta. The Chamber of Advocates is proud to be collaborating with the Commonwealth Lawyers Association in the organisation of this esteemed event.
