In 2016, the Commonwealth Lawyers Association  (CLA) partnered with ITN Productions to create a programme for digital transmission.

The object of the programme to was to raise awareness of the CLA as an organisation and to share some of the common challenges Commonwealth lawyers, and lawyers worldwide, share in course of their daily work.  In the last few years we have seen a number of issues arising including lawyers experiencing physical harm and in the worse cases losing their life for defending their clients.

Only through encouraging continued dialogue worldwide can we hope to address some of these challenges. The Commonwealth Lawyers Association is committed to upholding the rule of law and works through its activities and conferences to continue a the worldwide conversation between lawyers.
